Cute Corsican Goats!

On our first day in Corsica, we came across herds of goats walking beside us whilst we were driving! Some were even marching in front of and blocking our path which we of course slowed down for. Locally known as “A Capra Corsica”, these special native Corsican Goats are so adorable! Typical features are their parallel, curved horns, long hair, narrow head, and small ears with hair of various colors including black, red, fawn, variegated white, and mottled.

So unique and adorable they were that I sketched some of them later on with black marker. Just a quick and brisk drawing, simple and nothing complex. Not exactly or perfect but just an artist’s impression. And I’m definitely including them in my upcoming Corsica Travel Poster! How could I not?
