Little One has been enjoying her summer! And what was she up to? Travelling again of course! Last week, she decided to visit a friend in Italy and whilst there thought a detour to Pisa would be a great idea. “Isn’t that where the famous Leaning Tower is?”, she mused. She’s been to Italy so many times but never ventured by that renowned monument so you can imagine how excited she was. After all, it was built as far back as 1173 and took almost 200 years to complete! Imagine that. And ike many tourists, she thought it would be a cute idea to do that “preventing the tower from tilting further’ pose haha!
And of course I had to paint about it! This time, I went for digital art on Procreate. Seeing that I’ve been sticking to sketching with pens and watercolors during our entire trip to Italy and Corsica, I switched to digital for this one. First began on our boat trip to Corsica and completed it when I returned home. The brushes selected was a combination of Procreate’s default airbrushes and Lisa Bardot’s gouache brushes which came very handy for texture enhancement. And am so pleased I’m getting the hang of light and shadows now. Not perfect but takes practice. Besides it’s the cuteness that counts, right? See how sweet and excited Little One is!
