Finally arrived in Corsica! An early-morning start it was and a 4.5 hour sail from Livorno. And during the sail what other better way than to spend that time painting! I continued with my Procreate piece about The Leaning Tower in Pisa but also decided to sketch a bit about our little cruise, and why not? Could make it all kawaii with my Little One and her friends! Complete of course with our cars parked inside it…
And on my small Strathmore Visual Journal for Mixed Media, first a detailed sketch with a black 1.0 Staedtler Pigment Liner. This was then followed by filling in with the SAI Traditional Japanese Colors aquarelle markers. For the sky and sea, I spread the colors with a wet brush, er voilà! Quick and simple, as done when sketching during traveling. And look how cute, excited and oh so looking forward to our adventure in Corsica we are!
