So cute! Little One is so happy to find that 2020 marks the Year of the Mouse! And so she decided to try on a little costume featuring one. Kawaii! I of course had to draw about it. This was the perfect opportunity for me to get out my pencils and sketch away. As my New Years resolution, one of the things I vowed was to practice more with light and shade techniques. It’s been ages since sketching with graphite pencils too.
Here I used Strathmore’s pad of Drawing Paper and a set of Caran D’Ache Graphite Line pencils which come in 15 shades ranging from 4H to 9B. I know there is room for improvement but it’s good practice. Perhaps if I do a weekly habit of just doing a pencil sketch, that may help!
