Greetings from Tokyo! Apologies again for the brief absence. I flew out last Thursday and landed Friday morning. Then made myself busy with meetings and running errands so I could get so tired that evening and sleep properly to avoid jet lag! I’m feeling great now with a huge smile as I raid the Sanrio shops to stock up on Hello Kitty stuff and see friends. So no real time to blog, let alone work on my art till now!
As promised though, I did a few drawings on my iPad during my flight. Great practice on my Procreate app and getting all kawaii. Challenge is always fun too! First made background sky blue and added clouds. Then for the first layer, I drew the airplane with ink and paint. Part-blue because I was flying KLM!
Next layer was the windows and the next of the kawaii passengers peering out those windows and waving! Quite simple and quick to complete but it was fun working on it!
And who says Little One can’t fly a jumbo jet hehe…
