Enough said. To be honest am getting a fed up with this hot weather. But at least the evenings and early mornings are about 10 degrees cooler so you can open the windows and sleep at night!
So a little cute pastel drawing expressing how I’m feeling…
It’s been a while since I’ve made a drawing using just pastels. This was mixture of soft chalky pastels (background) and oil pastels (subjects). I think they make a lovely combination. First drew the sun, flowers and Mini Me mainly in oils pastels. then filled in the background with soft pastel and drawing around the subjects.
In hindsight I should’ve done the background FIRST in soft pastels, fixed it with a fixative spray and THEN draw the subjects with oil pastels. I know next time!
