Today I went to my painting class and wanted to continue practising watercolour techniques but before dipping the brush in the paint we have to sketch the outline first in pencil. I found a vase full of beautiful sunflowers so I chose them as subject
It’s really not easy at all! Whilst I got the composition and proportion fine, it was the details that threw me off. The teacher nevertheless gave me useful tips on drawing the petals.
So this is what it looks like so far … hopefully I will be able to paint it next week!
