Still working on my Switzerland Travel Poster, and meanwhile sharing some artwork that’s been waiting to be written about here. It’s been a while since sharing some digital art, hasn’t it? Today we have such a piece in which I experimented with collage. That’s right, on Procreate! It was something I had picked up following Lisa Bardot’s classes. Wanting to practice further, I decided to create a cute bunny this time! And how is it possible to create collage art digitally?
First drew and painted my bunny, assigning separate layers each for the head, body eyes and surrounding hearts. Then I searched through a variety of stock photos via Pexels or Unsplash and found a number of suitable images for this purpose. Once imported, they were inserted in desired areas using Clipping Mask. How cool did that turn out? Loving the different textures! This time, the entire piece is all collage. So pleased with how successful it turned out that I can’t wait to do another similar collage!
