Oh no! It’s been such a crazy busy week again, and my boyfriend’s birthday was coming up. As I cried and apologized to him that I had no time to make a special birthday painting for him this year, he reassured me it was ok and not to worry bout it. “We’ve had a busy few months. Don’t fret. You can always make one next year”. But I was nevertheless determined. Luckily I managed to squeeze in an hour during my hectic schedule for a quick painting dedicated to this special day. which is in fact today!
A kawaii sketch of us using my Kuretake Gamsai Tambi Japanese watercolors. A bit simple this time, but loving the cute party hats! And talk about an impromptu painting too. Making this special painting made me feel much better. More relaxed and helped calm me down, a great distraction to these sstressful few days. I’m ever so glad I went ahead with it. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SWEETIE!! Love you loads.
