Missing You

Past few days including last weekend, my boyfriend has been in Switzerland skiing with his eldest son. It’s wonderful they could spend some quality time together. As his kids get older, he may have less chance to do so, and hence spend as much time together as you can, I say!

I just got back from Japan and had just a few days to spend with him before he took off for the ski trip. While it was a good time for me to continue unpacking my goodies from my Tokyo trip and catch up on stuff during my absence, I did miss him loads. So I sat down and doodled this kawaii piece with my new Copic Sketch pens I had bought in Japan.

It’s just a quick sketch, nothing elaborate. Merely expressing my thoughts and feelings. Whilst in Japan I also bought a bottle of Opaque White also by Copic which comes in a nail varnish like bottle with a brush. I used that on the whites of the eyes. It comes out pretty thick which explains the thick texture in those areas. Not to worry…

Overall, a fun and kawaii piece. My boyfriend is back now safely, and I am glad to hear enjoyed his time with his son. And now back to normality and happy again!
