This weekend we are moving our clocks forward to Summer Time! So no more short dark dreary days as we get more daylight. Yet it sure doesn’t feel like Sprimg because it is still so cold! Temperatures have in fact been quite volatile; sunny T-shirt weather a few days ago and now chilly and raining on and off these past few days. What’s going on? Please bring back the warmer weather! And hence this bright vivid digital painting I spontaneously created the other day…
I was in the mood of flowers, seeing it is almost end of March and thinking it’s high time we see a few blossoming already! Everything Watercolor, available on Creative Market, comes with 92 different brushes, giving me a wide range to have fun practicing with. As for the background, I merely incorporated some leafy textures from one of Jason’s Expressive Brushes against a light blue wash and played around with the blending mode. Hoping this will cheer us up a bit!
