Another fun play around with special features on Procreate! This time, it’s on producing Glitches in our drawings with a bit of Cyberpunk flare. Think of that visually blurry and distorted effects we had on the screens from television sets back in the days. I came across this via a Procreate tutorial exploring different possibilities with this amazing digital art app. And of course, Little One was more than happy to volunteer as model!
Process is quite simple. On a black background, sketch desired character in white. Duplicate that layer, go to the Glitch menu via the Adjustments icon and on Diverge, slide pencil or finger slowly across to seperate the colors produced. To produce that digital interference effect, choose Signal and have play around. Final step was duplicating the original drawing again and setting the lighting mode to Overlay. How cool is that! And Little One still remains so adorable and cute.
